William Dustin "Dusty" Mason, retired service department manager of Southern Arizona Auto Company (22 years) and Motor Vehicle Division (10 years), passed away peacefully at his home in Douglas, Arizona on August 4, 2017. Dusty is survived by his wife, Maritza, son Dustin Dell, and three step-children Frank (Tracy) Ybarra, Abbi (Jose) Moreno, and Adriel Ybarra, whom he loved as his own, as well as eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Delline Mason, brother Randy (Erin) Mason, sister Darcy (Mike) Cerda and five nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John William Mason and step daughter-in-law Yareth Ybarra. Dusty was born April 10, 1964 in Douglas where he lived his life and made many loyal friends. He is a 1982 graduate of Douglas High School and 1984 graduate of Northwood Institute in Cedar Hill, TX where he earned his associates degree in Automotive Marketing. Dusty enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling, and NASCAR. Visitation will be held at Brown Page Mortuary Wednesday, August 9 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. (family only) and 6:00-8:00 p.m. (public). Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 10th at the First Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held at the Douglas BPO Elks Lodge immediately following.
