Trinidad Durazo Torres passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Haven of Douglas. Trinidad was born in Oputo, Sonora Mexico on July 4, 1930 to Julian and Isidra Mevan Durazo. She was a teacher for many years in Mexico before her retirement. Trinidad is survived by her beloved husband Eugenio Torres, sister Socorro Durazo Zepeda and brother Julian Durazo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family and friends. Visitation and Rosary will be held from 11:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2014 in the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel and from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Funeraria Renacimiento in Agua Prieta, Sonora. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Pirtleville with Father Armando Espinoza officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Douglas.
