Sergio Garcia, Jr. passed away on August 22, 2023 and went to be with our heavenly father. He was born on July 27, 1992, and was raised in Douglas, AZ. He graduated from Douglas High School with the class of 2010. He is survived by his parents Sergio and Irene; two sisters, Katrina and Kasandra; his niece Camila and brother-in-law Steven. His two children Ethan Rumi and Zalia; paternal grandfather Juan Garcia and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Bernardo and Francisca Jusaino and paternal grandmother Albertina Garcia.

Sergio's greatest accomplishment were his children. He loved them more than the air in his lungs, the wet grass on his feet, and the warm embrace of the sun on his face. Sergio was one of the purest, selfless, and nicest souls that anyone could've ever met. For those that were fortunate to cross paths with him were humbly surprised by his kindness, politeness, loyalty, and respect. He loved his friends and family with all his heart, and he will greatly be missed by everyone that knew him. Heaven gained a beautiful soul, and we pray that Father God continues to guide him on his next journey. Heaven got brighter and the earth a little darker without his presence. Keep skating in heaven, forever young, you will be forever missed. We loved you yesterday, we love you today, forever in our hearts.

The Holy Rosary for Sergio will be recited at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at St. Luke's Catholic Church.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.  The celebration of life will take place on September 30, 2023 at the Douglas Golf and Social Club 372 E. Fairway Dr. Douglas, AZ 85607 following the Burial.
