On October 29, 2018, at the age of 60, Sergio Olivas Bernal passed away amongst family and friends. Sergio was survived by his mother Rosalva Bernal, father Alfredo Bernal Sr, and his two sons Sergio Bernal II and Jesse James Bernal. Sergio was the oldest of five brothers. His brothers are Alfredo Bernal Jr, Genaro Bernal, Ernesto Bernal, and Hugo Bernal. By his side, until the end, was Elvira Bernal who completed her promise. Born on January 17, 1958, Sergio was a rugged man and a cowboy, a legend in his own right, loved nature and the outdoors, appreciated his Apache and Yaqui native blood, and was tough as nails. He was always ready to help anyone in need and never asked for anything in return. Sergio was a hard worker and gave 100% in everything he did. From Native American crafts, being a genius musician, or remodeling a whole house, Sergio gave his all and did amazing work. A man of few words, and colorful metaphors, he did have a few sayings. One of his famous sayings was, "Never say goodbye. It's until next time." Until that day Sergio.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Brown Page Mortuary.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church.
