Ruth Elizabeth Dutiel fell asleep in death at her home in Douglas on April 03, 2014. Our beloved mother was 93 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leon Boudreaux and Goulia Littlejohn. Ruth was the youngest child with four brothers and one sister, all of whom preceded her in death. She married Robert F. Dutiel on May 19, 1941 He too preceded her in death. Surviving are her four children : Mary Kathern Hundertmark, Carol S. Taylor, Robert F Dutiel Jr. and James J. Dutiel as well as numerous grand children and great grandchildren.

She always had a deep love for her Creator. When she met Jehovah's Witnesses she enjoyed an in depth study of the Bible. This resulted in her dedication and baptism on October 03, 1949. It had a profound effect on the way she lived and raised her children. She was a warm and dear person that everyone who met her came to enjoy. She will be dearly missed.

A memorial will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday April 12th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2277   N. Washington Ave in Douglas.
