Robert "Bobby" Pinedo (69) was called home with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 1, 2016. Bobby was well known in the community, working with Billy the Kid and Douglas Unified Schools. Bobby, a long time musician, played with "Los Dee Vines"; "Los Ember"; "Los Sensations"; "Noble and the Matadors"; "Los Latin Caballeros"; "El Latin Combo"; "Orq Lopez"; "Los Latin Caballer II"; "MAXIMUS"; "Los Poor Boys"; "Golden Age"; "Force Entertainment"; "Douglas All Starz"; "Suavecito"; "Conspiracy"; "RELAX Band"; "Border Boogie Band"; "Pueblo Band" and "Karisma." Bobby is survived by his wife Rose Mary Lugo-Pinedo; children Shirley Molina (Josh), Julie Pinedo (Veronica), and Estefan Pinedo (Yahaira); his grandchildren Raymond, Kalani, Kylie, Gladys, Giovan, J.R., Isaiah, Jimmy, and Christine. Bobby is also survived by his brother, Ricardo Valdez; sisters Gloria Perez (Pete) and Martha Valenzuela, also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Bobby had a full life enjoying his drumming, friends and family. He loved with a passion and was always considerate and humble. Bobby leaves a legacy of true friendship and spirit. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. A Rosary for Bobby will be recited at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday May 7, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday May 7, 2016 also at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
