Reymundo Cortez Amaya passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. He was born December 2, 1951 in Douglas, Arizona to Jesus and Rosa Cortez Amaya. Reymundo worked various jobs through the years including construction, a tire shop and for Coca Cola before stopping to care for his elderly father. He loved music having an extensive collection of classic albums and posters of various artists. He also loved classic cars, painting and drawing. He was a devoted son and a great brother. Reymundo was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Hilda Cortez Amaya. He is survived by his brother and best friend Rene Cortez Amaya. A Rosary for Reymundo will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Calvary Cemetery.
