Ramona "Kathy" Kathleen Jones went home to heaven on Tuesday, May 18 ^th , with two of her sons by her side.

Kathy was the oldest of twelve siblings of Coy and Joyce Waters. She was born on December 11, 1954 in rural Arkansas; however, she spent the majority of her youth in Elfrida, Arizona.

Kathy met her husband, Charles Mathew Jones Jr, as a teenager and married him on November 11, 1972. They had three sons together, Charles III, Robert, and Johnathan. The family lived in Elfrida, Wickenburg and in the Phoenix area.

After the death of her husband, Kathy stayed surrounded by family and loved ones, oftentimes unofficially adopting many of her sons' friends. Kathy and her sons had a special relationship for many, many years.

A cowgirl to her very being, Kathy loved western movies, living on a ranch, and country music. She could be often found singing, "These Boots Were Made for Walking," on a karaoke night. She was an avid pool player and participated in many leagues of the years. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, teaching them to cook and playing board games, especially whooping their butts at Yahtzee.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Coy and Travis, and sister Joanne; as well as her husband. She will forever be cherished by her three sons, Charles, Robert, and Johanthan (Niki); her six grandchildren, Christopher, Billi, Johnathan Jr., Justin, Jakob, and Connor; as well as her sisters, brother, and large family of those who loved her, related and extended
