Ramona Ysea Borbon, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Surprise, Arizona on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, after years of loving home health care by her grandson, Francisco (Tere) Leon. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who doted on her grandkids.

She was born on November 20, 1936 in Agua Prieta, Sonora. She led a full life and enjoyed the company of family and friends. Her work as a nursing assistant enabled her to provide compassionate care to the elderly.

Ramona gave life to five children, Jose Ysea of San Diego, CA, Elias Borbon of Sierra Vista, AZ, Rose Elias of Surprise, AZ and Frances Borbon Joy of Nashville, TN. Her eldest daughter, Theresa Borbon Flores, preceded her in death in 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Martha Ysea, one sister, Palmida Perez Vazquez and two brothers, Benny Fuentes and Pedro Ysea. She is also survived by a stepbrother, Santos Ruiz of Nogales, AZ.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be limited to immediate family only.
