On a sunny January afternoon, Ramón Mora Pérez peacefully left this life for his eternal one. Born in Agua Prieta, Sonora, he grew up in Douglas and lived in many places, including Tucson, until settling back in Douglas.

Ramon is survived by his beloved wife, Luz "Luchi", and his three daughters, Veronica, Jessica and Monica. Ramon is surrounded by his loving family of siblings Lupita, Martha and Jose Perez, along with la familia Galaz Garcia. He is preceded in death by parents Jesus and Socorro Perez and sister Cecilia "Sheila" Perez.

"Mr. Perez", as he was known around Douglas, was a regular at coffee stops in town as part of his daily routine. He worked by opening a fabric store "La Bonita" upon arriving from Tucson, also in maquiladora offices and retired as a finance manager at a local charter school, working alongside his wife Luchi.

Ramon enjoyed playing golf, guitar and getting together with his lifelong friends, "The Hounds", rooting for D'Backs baseball and anything U of A.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Brown-Page Mortuary.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday January 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church.  A Celebration of Life will be held following the Mass at from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the
