Our beloved mother Rafaela Villarreal joined our Lord in the heavenly kingdom on December 18, 2014. Rafaela passed away peacefully, her children and grandchildren were at her side in Tucson, who joined together in song and prayer in a beautiful send off to the Kingdom of our Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband Abram A. Villarreal and daughter Guadalupe (Lupita) Villarreal. She is survived by daughter Rose Marie Cortez, sons Elias Villarreal (Adela) David Villarreal (Gloria) and Manny Montano (Terri), Grandchildren David Montano, Tony Montano, Gabriel Cortez, E. Daniel Villarreal, Monica Risley, Laura Villarreal, Michael Villarreal, David Villarreal Jr., Abraham Villarreal, Jaime Villarreal, Joel Villarreal, Emanuel Montano, Angelique Montano. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Park Avenue Health Center where she resided for the past 3 years and received excellent day to day care and love from an untiring staff, who were there for all her needs. She touched many lives with her sincere heartfelt warmth, kindness and love. A Rosary for Rafaela will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church, followed by burial at Calvary cemetery. Pallbearers who will serve are Elias Villarreal, David Villarreal Sr., Gabriel Cortez, Daniel Villarreal, Joel Villarreal, Manny Montano, Eddie Parra, Alejandro Lerma.
