In loving Memory of Rafael Escarcega Monge

November 26th, 1945 to October 5th, 2026

Rafael peacefully passed away on October 5th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Rafael is survived by his wife, Imelda Monge, three children, Rafael “Faly” Monge, Vanessa Copeland, and Ariel Monge, along with six grandchildren, Isaiah (Arielito) Monge, Damian Monge, Aaliyah Copeland, Demetrius Monge, Almirah Copeland, and Isaac Monge.

Rafael was a phenomenal father, grandfather, sibling, uncle, and friend. He provided unconditional comfort and love to those around him, acting selflessly, putting others before himself, and offering the utmost devotion to his family.

Although you are no longer with us, we will forever carry you in our hearts.

Tata, thank you for teaching us how to fix things, and what could not be fixed, we labeled “N.F.G”

En memoria de Rafael Escarcega Monge, quien vivirá por siempre en nuestros corazones 

26 de noviembre de 1945 – 5 de octubre de 2026 

Rafael falleció en paz el 5 de octubre de 2026, rodeado del amor y cariño de su familia. 

Le sobreviven su esposa, Imelda Monge, sus tres hijos, Rafael “Faly” Monge, Vanessa Copeland, y Ariel Monge, así como sus seis nietos, Isaiah “Arielito” Monge, Damian Monge, Aaliyah Copeland, Demetrius Monge, Almirah Copeland, y Isaac Monge. 

Fue un padre, abuelo, hermano, tío y amigo extraordinario. Brindó consuelo y amor incondicional a todos los que lo rodeaban, siempre actuando con generosidad, poniendo a los demás antes que a sí mismo y entregándose con todo su corazón a su familia. 

Aunque ya no estás con nosotros, te llevaremos por siempre en nuestros corazones. 

Tata, gracias por enseñarnos a trabajar en las cosas y a no darnos por vencidos. Cuando había algo que no podíamos arreglar, simplemente le poníamos “N.F.G.”
