Othoniel "Daniel" Duarte Molina was a caring husband/ex-husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.  Daniel left this world on his own terms at home with his family on November 15, 2021 at age 73.

Daniel was born to Jose Dolores and Maria Del Rosario Molina on December 17, 1948 at Colonia Morelos, Sonora, Mexico.  After marriage to his teenage-"Honey", Jennie I. Reyes,  Daniel chased his dreams to start a new life in the United States and moved to Los Angeles, California.  Together they had two children: Joshua and Macedonio "Macy" and he leaves behind five grandchildren: Macedonio "Macen", Genieva, Mia, Breanna and Kylie. He also leaves behind two loving sisters: Petra and Rhode.

Often referred to as "MacGyver" because there was nothing he could not build or fix. Daniel loved to work with his hands, building and fixing things for a living and as a hobby.  Though never formally educated, Daniel became a master automotive mechanic and shop foreman who specialized in transmission repair and rebuild.

Despite loss of sight, Daniel never lost his faith and had clear vision that one day he would meet with God face-to-face and dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Memorial Services will be on Saturday 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Foot of the Cross Church, 124 W. Pirtle Ave, Pirtleville, AZ 85607.  Burial will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery 1501 E. 5th Street, Douglas, AZ 85607.  Reception follows at the Molina Residence:

99-E. 17th Street, Douglas, AZ 85607.  Inclement weather, reception will be held at the Foot of the Cross Church.
