Olivia A. De Rivas was born in Bacerac, Sonora, Mexico on May 31, 1950 and was born into Heaven on December 23, 2021.  She passed away peacefully in Deming, New Mexico after battling cancer for the past year.  Olivia was a long-time resident of Douglas where she worked for many years at Billy the Kid and then Kids Outlet. She was preceded in death by her son Ruben Rivas Jr, and her husband Ruben Rivas.   Olivia is survived by her daughter Evelinda (Jose Enrique) Zavala and son Danny (Stephanie) Rivas.  She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Will), Stephanie, Jessika, Aidan and Alayna, one great grand baby Sofia, her brother Oscar and sister Blanca.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Brown Page Mortuary with a Rosary being recited at 5:00 pm.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church.
