Olga Vasquez de Mendoza, age 77 of Douglas, peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 in Glendale, Arizona. She was born to the late Francisco Vasquez and Maria Jesus Vasquez Galaz on February 6, 1938. She lived in Douglas for 25 years. Olga enjoyed doing arts and crafts, gardening, listening to music, crochet, and playing board games. Olga is survived by her husband, Fausto; her children: Gilberto, Irma, Ricardo, Carmen, Jose, Martin, Juan, Guadalupe and Cecilia; her 33 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Fausto Eduardo. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brown Page Mortuary with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Armando Espinosa officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers who will serve are her husband, Fausto Mendoza, Ricardo Mendoza, Jose Mendoza, Martin Mendoza, Juan Mendoza and Gilberto Vasquez. Honorary Pallbearers include her grandchildren, son-in-laws and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her.
