Nora Louise Hollearn Estelle was born on October 4, 1934 to Charles and Ruth Hollearn of Northville, NY. She is a graduate of Buffalo State Teacher's College and the New York Biblical Seminary. Through the encouragement of one of her seminary professors, Nora went to Ethiopia as a short-term missionary in 1960, where she taught at a girls' boarding school for 3 years. She then taught Weekday Religious Education in the Indianapolis, IN area, where she met Forest Estelle , who moved the mobile chapels she taught in to various locations around the city. Following the death of Forest's wife, Ava, Nora and Forest were married on April 10, 1965, and she inherited a full house including Phil, Dave, Steve, and Becky. John Mark and Mary Lou were born to Forest and Nora in the following years while living in Indiana. In 1968, Forest and Nora joined New Tribes Mission, now known as Ethnos360. Although they fully expected at that time to go overseas as missionaries, they ended up serving stateside with NTM for 30 years, most recently in McNeal, Arizona.

Nora was best known for her sense of humor, love for the Lord and for His Word, teaching ladies' Bible studies, raising and arranging beautiful flowers, and painting - even after losing most of her sight. She also loved music, especially the old hymns, and they were the greatest source of encouragement for her in her last years on earth.

On the morning of November 8, 2020, after suffering a debilitating stroke, Nora left behind the physical body that was no longer serving her well, and stepped into the presence of her Lord and Savior whom she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, and her husband, Forest. She is survived by her two children, four stepchildren, 13 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
