Nellie V. Fierros, 82, of Douglas, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital and entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Nellie was born in Douglas, Arizona February 27, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Roberto G. Fierros, parents Manuel and Antonia Valenzuela, brother Ray Valenzuela and sister Sophia Murillo. Nellie is survived by her four daughters Rosemary (Joe) Chavez of Douglas, Lucy Fierros of Herford, AZ, Rachel Saucedo of Douglas, Nellie (Cesar) Rios of Tucson, AZ, and brother Larry Valenzuela of Douglas. Nellie also leaves her seven grandchildren Joey, Krystal, Raymond, Jacinda, Kandace, Brianna and Kayleen, nine great-grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews. A Rosary for Nellie will be recited at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Brown Page Mortuary. A mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at St. Luke's Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cesar Rios, Martin Quijada, Joey Chavez, Raymond Holguin, Julio Lomeli and Tyler Stocksdale. Mom, you will be truly missed forever by everyone, but we all have comfort knowing that you are now in a better place reunited with dad and with our Lord. May God give you eternal peace.
