Natalia Tapia Villarreal, born on March 10, 1936, in Cuquiarachi, Sonora, Mexico, peacefully passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, in Douglas, Arizona. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and godmother to many, whose kindness and strength left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Natalia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Esgardo A. Villarreal, as well as her sons, Edwardo (Guadalupe Michel) and Juan Villarreal. Her memory will be cherished by her surviving children: Yolanda Villarreal, Letty (Adan Garcia), Carlos (Danitza Palomares), and Angelica (Mario Somoza). 12 grand children and 17 great grand children.
A woman of profound faith and unwavering love, Natalia dedicated her life working and retiring from Fiesta Canning Factory, visiting her family in Cuquiarachi Sonora. Her home was always filled with the comforting aroma of her cooking. She instilled in her children the values of compassion, hard work, and unity—principles that continue to guide them today.
Natalia's legacy endures through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have shared in her life. Her candid upfront spirit, generous heart, and enduring love will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their love and support during this time of remembrance.
