Longtime resident Natalia Campas passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by family on January 27th, 2022. Natalia was born in Mexio, February 19th, 1931. She came to the United States as a young lady and became a long-time resident of Douglas. In Douglas is where she met her husband Anacleto Campas. Together they raised a family of 9 children. Natalia spent many hours watching baseball games and cheering on her beloved Diamondbacks. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and catering to her grandchildren. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church and devoted many hours to volunteer work for the church.

Natalia was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Anacleto Campas, son Frank Campas, daughter Rosa Duran and son in law Jose Luis Sotelo. She is survived by her children Lou (Shirley) Campas, Stella Galvez, Sylvia (Dora) Estrada, Cleto (Debbie) Campas Jr., Marisella Samaniego, Lucy Sotelo and David E. (Diane) Campas and her many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at St. Luke's Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:00 am with Father Arnold Noriega officiating. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten in the hearts of all those whom she touched. The family wishes to thank the medical staff of Casa De La Paz for their kindness and compassion provided to Natalia.
