Nancy Ann Chenowth passed away on April 28, 2020 in Tucson, Arizona.   She was born on June 21, 1952 to Carlos and Hester Ann Nelson.  Nancy was a longtime Douglas resident who remained a stay at home mother and wife of her husband Rhett, who worked alongside his father and brothers running the Chenowth Ranch in McNeal AZ while she raised their children.  Nancy relocated to Tucson, AZ in 2002 after the death of her husband to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Nancy always enjoyed visiting with family and friends as she labored as the Resident Counsel President in the Assisted Care Home where she resided until her passing. Nancy was loved by so many of her family, Resident Staff and friends.  Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Rhett Chenowth, her parents Carlos and Hester Ann Nelson; grandparents, Ralph and Thelma McDonald and her sister, Irene Simpson.   She is survived by her brother Ralph (Beth Ann) Nelson of Clarkston, Michigan; son, Barry (Wanda) White of Tucson, Arizona; and daughter, Andrhetta Chenowth  of Tucson, Arizona;  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chance (Aylin) White, Jaide White, Paige White, Kristian White and Connor White along with numerous nieces and nephews.  Private Graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery on Friday, May 8, 2020.
