Michael F. Nava passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. He was born August 31, 1945 in LaPorte, Indiana to Manuel and Eleanor E. Nava. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, and began his teaching career at Douglas High School in 1967. Mr. Nava had pride in his community, was concerned with the welfare of others and enjoyed yard work. He was preceded in death by his loving parents. Mr. Nava is survived by his sister, Donna and his brother, David. He is also survived by his niece, Alison (Reynaldo) and his nephew, Aaron (Beth). Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Brown Page Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 am on Monday, July 10, 2017 at St. Luke's Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 10:30 am with Father Gilbert Malu officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
