Mary Ellen Menduett drew her last breath on this earth on January 31, 2022 at the age of 77.  Mary was surrounded by her family and close friends.  Mary was born to Librada Cuen in Douglas, AZ, she attended local schools and graduated from Douglas High in 1962.  Being a Douglas Bulldog was one of her biggest joys, always cheering for the Bulldogs, be it on the field as a pompom, or in the stands.  After graduating, Mary lived in Mexico City and returned to the US in 1977.  She worked in HR at Billy The Kid and retired from DES as an Unemployment Specialist.  Retirement for Mary consisted of opening a home business, Guera's, where she helped hundreds in obtaining legal residency and citizenship, passing that to her son Robert who will continue the legacy.  Prior to being homebound for the past year, Mary attended mass daily at Immaculate Conception Church, had strong ties to the community and was much loved by many.  Mary is survived by her children, Monique Villaescusa Fairbanks and Robert Menduett.  She was a loving, caring grandmother to Christopher Gracia, Taylor Villaescusa and Nicholas and Ezra Menduett.  Also, great-grandmother to Cyles and Lexxie Gracia and Mila Elizabeth Villescusa.   Services for Mary will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church with a Rosary being recited at 10:15 am followed by a Mass at 11:00 am.  A lunch celebration of life will follow at the AK Tavern room, rear entrance, at the "Y", 1000 Pan American in Douglas.  Service will be streamed on Facebook Live and Zoom.  Link will follow.  The family wishes to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, condolences and sympathy wishes.
