Born on February 6, 1939, in Nacozari, Sonora, Mexico, Graciela lived a life centered around love, prayer, and service to those around her.

She gave so freely, not only to her family and friends, but also to strangers who were touched by her warmth and kindness. Her faith was the foundation of who she was, guiding her words, her actions, and the way she cared for others. She carried wisdom gently, offering comfort, guidance, and prayers to anyone who crossed her path. Many found peace simply sitting beside her, hearing her voice, or receiving one of her handwritten notes filled with encouragement and love, sometimes even a small seashell given as a quiet reminder of her care. Her handwriting was unforgettable, a treasured reminder of the love she poured into others. Graciela had a beautiful way of making people feel seen, protected, and deeply loved.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Claudia Machiche Villa; her cherished grandchildren, Izzael Lopez, Anaii Lopez, and Aili Cooper; and her great-granddaughter Grace Lopez. Along with many family members, dear friends, and loved ones who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.
