Mary Louise Hahn Townsend was born April 15, 1927 in Dallas, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Yarnell. Margie went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sept. 24, 2017. When she was 2-years-old, her sister Marie carried her out of their burning home. Their mother died in the house. Their brother J.C. was working at a cotton mill. Margie was adopted by Arthur and Eunice Holbrook at the age of 6 until she was 17-years-old. Margie married James Robert Townsend in Dallas, Texas on August 15, 1947. David was stationed at Guadalcancal in WW II, Korea and they were stationed at various posts during Dads 22 and a half years of service. Margie attended Valley Bible at Double Adobe with many dear friends until she was no longer able to attend. Margie was preceded in death by her sister Marie, brother J.C., husband James Robert son William Arthur and grandson Jeremy Mathew (Tricia Townsend). She is survived by her son Jim L. Townsend (Rose Mary); grandson, James William. Daughter in law Dorthy, granddaughter Tina Patricia Townsend, great granddaughter Britney - Danae; great, great grandson William Arthur Ryan; great granddaughter Amanda Paige Ryan, grandson Gary Lee Townsend (Cherry); grandchildren Renz, Brennan, Christina-Nicole, Faith Amber, Blossom Berry Townsend. A Funeral Service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 at Brown Page Mortuary with Pastor John Hopson from First Baptist Church officiating. Internment will take place at Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017. Pallbearers: Roy and Bill Santa Cruz, Gary Lee, Renze, Brennan, James L and James William Townsend. Mom and grandma, we love you and you will be greatly missed but we will look forward to being reunited in the presence of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
