Marisa B. Moreno passed away peacefully at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona on September 22, 2019 at approximately 10:02a.m.

She is preceded in death by her father Rafael Moreno Samaniego and her brother Jose Antonio Moreno Barcelo.

Marisa is lovingly remembered by her daughters Nathania (Esteban) De La Cruz and Yarim Moreno, her grandchildren Damian, Aliyana, and Lilyana De La Cruz in addition to her mother Esthela Moreno Barcelo and siblings Manuel (Lidia) Moreno, Sergio (Maria Elena) Moreno, Rafael (Leticia) Moreno, Lourdes Greer, Gema (Rick) Michl, Norma Moreno, and Francisco Moreno as well as her loving nephews and nieces.

Marisa was born in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico on August 04, 1964.  She graduated from  Cebatis numero 81 in 1983.  She went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Cochise College in Douglas, Arizona in 1988 and later became certified as a teaching assistant.

Marisa resided in Douglas, Arizona for 25 years and became a United States Citizen on September 13, 1997.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family especially with her grandchildren.  She also loved art, decorating, reading, dancing and listening to music.  She will always be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother "Lita", daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Prayers will be offered from Brown Page Mortuary located at 910 F Avenue in Douglas, Arizona on Friday October 4, 2019 at 7:00 pm.

The funeral mass will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church located at 1211 E. 15th St. in Douglas, Arizona on Saturday October 5, 2019 at 10:30 am with burial of ashes to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
