Maria Elena Pinedo, age 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on March 20, 2015. She was born January 28, 1942, in Esqueda Sonora, Mexico. She worked for 12 years at Billy the Kid (Shirt Factory) and also, for 22 years as a caregiver with the Heart Felt Help Inc. Maria Elena was a long time member of the Sociedad Mutualista de Obreros Mexicanos and the Immaculate Church where she volunteered to help with C.C.D classes and the Fiestas Del Sol amongst many other church activities. She is survived by her three daughters Celia Pinedo, Sandra (Rene) Roqueni, Rosalva Pinedo (Alex Castillo) and
step-daughter Angelita Pinedo. She also leaves seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with one more on the way. Maria Elena was preceded in death by her husband Pedro Pinedo and grandson Hector Martinez. She will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts. Services will be held on Tuesday March 24, 2015 with visitation beginning at 11:30 am at Brown Page Mortuary followed by a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at St. Luke's Church. A Celebratory Mass will be recited in her honor on Wednesday March 25, 2015 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Armando Espinoza officiating. Cremation will follow the services with burial of her ashes at a later date. Pallbearers who will serve are Rene Roqueni, Eric Cazares, Julio Lomeli, Alex Castillo, Jose Pinedo and Oziel Martinez.
