Maria Angelina Foppe, born on June 3, 1934, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 18, 2016. Maria was born in Pirtleville Arizona and graduated from Douglas High School in 1952. She attended St. Mary's School of Nursing in Tucson, Arizona. Maria worked at Southern Arizona Medical Center for 29 years. Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, James Foppe in 1998. She is survived by her only son, Charles, his wife Elda, grandsons: Josue, Jimmy and Angel Foppe, whom she was residing with for the past 4 years. A Rosary for Maria will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. Luke's Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary with Father Gilbert Malu officiating. Burial will follow at the Pirtleville Cemetery.
