Maria "Mary" Escobedo Flores died peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters in Phoenix AZ on March 15, 2017 at the age of 90. Maria is preceded in death by her sister Rosa Escobedo Ramirez and her brother Jesus Escobedo and her husband of 20 years Reynaldo "Nano" Flores. Maria is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Elsa Obregon (Jesus) of Tucson, Teresa Flores-Primm (Benny) of Glendale AZ, Laura Flores-Garland (Doug) of Phoenix AZ; her sister Ruth Reyes & family of Lakewood CA; grandchildren, Renee and Victor Evans (Monica), Gregory Obregon, Manuel & Ryan Nava; great-grandchildren Mackenzie Evans , Cierra and Travis Evans. Maria's niece Gloria Rogers (Dwayne) of Phoenix and nephew Robert Escobedo (Lisa) and the rest of the Escobedo family in Phoenix AZ. Maria also is remembered by her cousins; Ramona Velasco, Juanita Torres, Rowena Moreno and the rest of our Pirtleville family.
Maria E. Flores was born in Riverside, California in 1927. She worked at Good Samaritan Hospital till her retirement in Phoenix where she enjoyed singing, family and her dogs "Lucky, Baby & Sabe". On March 25, 2017, visitation will be held at Brown Page Mortuary, 910 F Ave Douglas, AZ from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Pastor Carlos Montano will officiate the service following the viewing. Burial will take place after the service by Pastor Montano at the Pirtleville Cemetery. Due to several out of town family and friends, there will not be a reception afterwards.
