Maria Jesus Duarte was called to be with the lord on October 22, 2022.  She was surrounded by her loving family prior to her passing.  Maria Jesus was born on December 1, 1930 in Cabullona, Sonora, Mexico.  She married David P. Duarte Sr.  and settled in Douglas, AZ in 1946.  They were happily married for 51 years until David's passing in 1997.  They had 7 children together.  She is proceeded in death by children Francisco, Guillermo, Norma and Rosa Jimenez.

She is survived by her children David (Amelia) Duarte, Cruz (Miguel) Ramirez and Luis (Yolanda) Duarte.  She was a loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Maria Jesus was known to brighten up a room with her smile.  She was loved by many with her sweet demeanor.

She loved her family, pets, novelas and Snapchat filters.

We will all miss her immensely. We love you.

Services will be as followed: Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at Brown Page Mortuary with the Holy Rosary being recited at 10:00 am.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 11:00 am.  Burial is to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
