Maria Amavizca Corella passed away on October 11, 2021 in Douglas, AZ.  She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel J. Corella whom she was married to for 67 years, Son Guillermo (Bill) Corella, and Daughter Leticia Corella

Maria was born in Yécora, Sonora Mexico on November 25, 1927 to Tomas and Maria Amavizca.  She later married and moved to Douglas where she lived for more than 70 years.  Maria was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus Columbiettes and Club Viejos Amigos.

Maria is survived by her children Armando (Barbara), Abel, and Grace (Eliseo).  She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; Robert, Armando JR, Manuel, Katrina, Alina, Kevin (Bianca), Denise (Carlos),  Eliseo Jr and Estevan (Fernanda), 9 great grandchildren; Alex, Adriana, Alyssa, Dominic, Gianna, Leonardo, Hailley, Julian, Everly, and  sister Adelina Guerrero.  A Rosary will be recited on October 23, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:15am followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
