Maria Luisa Altamirano, "Chula", born on June 15, 1938, passed away surrounded by her loving family, and arrived at her eternal home, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. A beloved mother, nana, great-nana, sister, friend, and life mentor. Preceded in death by husband David, her parents Abundio and Isabel Grajeda, brothers, and sisters. Survived by her sister Irma Abdelakader, and her five children Alma Luzania (Ray), David Jr. Altamirano, Susie Teran (Carlos), Guy Altamirano (Terri), Stella Garcia (Rene), and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a faithful servant to God, a woman of wisdom, and an inspiration to many.  The Holy Rosary will be recited for Maria at 10:15 am on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at St. Luke's Catholic Church.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
