It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Marguerite Verdugo, 97, announces her passing on March 3, 2018 at her home with family by her side.  Marguerite was employed by Phelps Dodge and the Douglas Unified School District.  She was active in many community organizations.  One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her family and friends.  Marguerite is survived by her daughters Cecilia Woods (Bill) and Rebecca Dix and her son Robert (Virginia) Verdugo.  She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.  Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband Adolf (Chach) Verdugo and granddaughter Kathryn Dix.  Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Grace Methodist Church, 715 E. 11 ^th Street in Douglas.  Reception to follow at the American Legion, 1325 G. Avenue, Douglas, Arizona.
