Margarita M. Flores fell asleep in death on May 18, 2015. She is survived by her brother Alfonso Mendez of Georgia. Also her three children: David Martin and wife Maria de la Luz, of El Paso, TX; Miguel and wife Martha of Houston, TX and Victoria F. McCloskey and husband Dennis, of Douglas, AZ. Also five grandchildren: David Flores and wife Miriam, and Eli Flores. Laura F. She was preceded in death by her husband Miguel S. Flores; her father Higinio Mendez and mother Hortencia Mendez and her brothers; Manuel Mendez and Victor Mendez and sisters Rosalita M. In 1958 she graduated from Durham's Business College. She was employed by Popular Dry Goods Company. Margarita became one of Jehovah's Witnesses on Feb. 14, 1959. She developed a strong love for her God Jehovah and her spiritual brothers and sisters. Margarita was always ready to share Bible truths to everyone she met at every opportunity.
She enjoyed teaching others about God's word and the hope she had of living forever in perfect conditions in Paradise on earth. A highlight for Margarita was attending Christian conventions and assemblies every year. She was very hospitable, and always had a friendly smile for everyone she met. Even though we'll miss her very much, our loss is temporary! We look forward to seeing her again in perfect conditions in Paradise. Memorial Service for Margarita will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2277 N. Washington Ave., Douglas, AZ 85607 with Elder Erik Flores officiating.
