Nelly Escarcega passed on Friday, March 28, 2014 in Tucson, Arizona. Nelly was born on September 2, 1943 in Cumpas, Sonora, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus Escarcega Noriega and Maria Carmen Escarcega. Nelly is survived by her siblings Socorro Escarcega, Filiberto Escarcega, Alicia Escarcega, Andres Escarcega and Francisco Horacio Escarcega. Nieces and nephews Martha Barrera Garcia, Armando Escarcega, Mara Figueroa, Anna Garcia, Adriana Lizeth Velazquez, David Escarcega and Richard Escarcega. A service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial of her ashes will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
