Manuel H. Ruelas entered into heaven on Wednesday August 6, 2014 after battling cancer for ten months. He was preceded in death by his daughter Maribel R. Ruelas. Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Carmen R. Ruelas and by his four children, Manuel R. Ruelas, Sandra (Michael) Betancourt, Nereida (Humberto) Rivera-Gonzalez, Edith (Mario) Pulido: grandchildren Yaileen and Fernando Pulido Ruelas: Sisters Socorro Nuñez Ruelas, Elisa Lopez Ruelas: Brother Enrique H. Ruelas: along with numerous nieces and nephews. Our Dad was a wonderful husband, loving father and a great friend. His family meant the world to him, as he would say everyday. We will miss him greatly, but he will always be in our hearts. We would like to extend a special thank you to our family and friends for their support during this difficult time. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday August 15, 2014 at St. Luke's Catholic Church. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2014 also at St. Luke's Catholic Church with Father Armando Espinozoa officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
