On Feb. 15 2024 Manuel Barco passed away in Douglas, Az in his home surrounded by his family. "Manny" Barco is survived by his wife Refugio and three sons Steffan "Steve" (Nuvia), Paul (Irasema) and Mathew Barco. Eight grandchildren, Andrea, Jenally, Pauleth, Hailey, Marisol, Vianny, Noah, and Isaiah Barco.

Manny also leaves behind his 4 sisters and 2 brothers, Yolanda Nora, Francisco "Frank" Barco, Maria Luisa Kirker, Gregoria Barco, Andres "Andy" Barco and Guadalupe "Lupita" Low.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos Luz de la Luz Barco and Valois Santa Maria Molina de Barco.

Manny was born on Sep. 24 1947 in Douglas, Az. He attended Douglas High School and worked for A.J. Bayless, Phelps Dodge, and the Douglas Unified School District where he retired after working for 23 years.

A memorial service for Manuel Barco is scheduled for Saturday March 2, 2024 at St. Lukes Catholic Church with Rosary @ 10:15 a.m.  followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m.  Graveside services will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery.
