"BEST PLUMBER IN TOWN" Manuel P. Grajeda "Meno" passed peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 71. Our father was born on March 12, 1945 in Agua Prieta, Sonora to Victor Manuel and Celina Grajeda. Losing his mother at the age of 6 months old, he was raised by his grandmother Guadalupe T. Grajeda until the age of 18. He then moved to Douglas, Arizona where he served in the Army National Guard from 1962-1967. After serving he started working as an assistant plumber until he started his own business known as Douglas Plumbing and Sewer Service. He also served as a volunteer fire fighter for the Pirtleville Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Aurora C. Grajeda, daughters Celina Grajeda, Nereyda (Ricardo) Munoz, Nydia (Luis) Moreno, his son, his pride and joy, his soldier Manuel (Zulma) Grajeda, and 11 grandchildren Janira & Andres Chavez, Danitza Estrada, Crystal, Ricky, Dominique & Brianna Munoz, Sabian Moreno, and Gerardo, Diana & Cesar Luis Grajeda. Our dad enjoyed hunting, horse races, and especially family and friend gatherings. He is remembered my many by his contagious laugh that could be heard a mile away and his sweet tooth. A special thank you to Casa De La Luz Hospice in Tucson for their loving care and support. Also thank you to Brown Page Mortuary for arrangements; and a VERY special thank you to the friends and family who came from near and far to be at his side during his final moments and at the memorial services. Services were held on Saturday October 15th at St. Luke's Catholic Church followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery where he received a Final Salute by the American Legion and VFW. Your death will always remain a blurry memory. But your life will always be a vivid one, the essence of greatness and sacrifice. We will forever miss you dad!
