Our beloved wife and mother, Luz Elena Campas, 64, of Douglas, AZ went to be with the Lord, peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday April 29, 2015. Our mother was born on June 20, 1950, in Nacozari, Sonora Mexico to Isidro Castro and Antonia Espinoza Castro. She was a very joyful and happy person and always made you smile. Laughing and making others laugh was what she enjoyed. A loving housewife, mother, grandmother and a great friend for many. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters, and her son Ariel Campas. She leaves behind her husband of 44 years, Eddie Campas Sr. and five sons and one daughter. Eddie (Bridget), Mark (Suzette), Alex (Karina), Andy (Adriana) and daughter Mercedes (David Ruiz). Fourteen grandchildren, Ariel, Adriana, Jazmine, Luz Elena, Alejandra, Brianna, Mackenzie, Adrian, Leo, Aris, Devyn, Bryan, Chris and Eric. A brother Jesus Castro and sister Lourdes Castro Fiel and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at Brown Page Mortuary from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary being recited at Immaculate Conception Church at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. also at Immaculate Conception Church. Pallbearers who will serve are Eddie Campas, Jr., Mark Campas, Alex Campas, Andy Campas, David Ruiz and Ariel Campas. Our mother will be laid to rest immediately after Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Douglas, Az. Rest in peace mom, we will always love you!
