Lucia Trevizo
Rosario
Dec 2, 1935 — Jul 29, 2025
In Loving Memory of Lucia T. Rosario
Lucia T. Rosario, age 89, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 2, 1935 in Santa Ana, Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Lucia was the heart and soul of our family — a woman whose love knew no bounds, whose laughter was contagious, and whose presence made life brighter. Her wit was unmatched, always ready with a clever remark or a perfectly timed joke that could lift even the heaviest of hearts.
She was a fiercely loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a doting great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Family was everything to her and her legacy will live on in our hearts, each of us will carry a piece of her warmth, humor, and wisdom.
Music was her lifelong companion, and dancing was her joy. She often fondly reminisced about when she would go dancing, where the music was lively, the company good, and the memories lasting. Those stories were always full of warmth, laughter, and just the right touch of sparkle in her eyes. They reminded us that she lived with passion and grace.
Everyone who had the privilege to know her, knew her favorite color was red — bold, beautiful, and full of life, just like her. Whether it was a scarf, a flower, or a touch of lipstick, red seemed to reflect her vibrant personality and her warm, passionate heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brother, and sons, Luis Valdez, Arturo Valdez, and Ricardo Rosario.
She is survived by her brother, Jesus Trevizo, her son, Jesus Rosario Jr., her daughters, Linda Valdez, Lourdes Valdez, Lucy Rosario, and Adriana Rosario, and her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, y su amor, Pedro Rascón. Though she is no longer with us in body, her laughter and love will echo in our lives forever. We will miss her terribly, but we are forever grateful for the time we shared and the memories we will treasure always.
