Luanna A. Encinas, 24, left this world unexpectedly on February 29, 2020, a beloved daughter, mother, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. Luanna was born in Tucson AZ. on July 31,1995 to Ana Celly Cornejo and Joey Encinas. Luanna grew up in Douglas. She attended elementary, Jr High and freshman year in Douglas, she also attended Rincon High in Tucson and Desert Point Academy in Phoenix. When you think of Luanna, think of all the good memories you shared with her. She was happiest listening, dancing and singing along with a wide variety of music. Growing up she played softball, and in high school she played volleyball. She was definitely a social butterfly. She is survived by her children Andres Zamora, Julian Lugo, and Caari Encinas; brother, Joey Encinas, mother Celly Cornejo, father, Joey Encinas, great-grandmother Margarita Rios, grandmothers Rosie Cornejo and Patricia Encinas, grandfathers Bernardo Garcia and Frank Cornejo (Minnie), along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Rosary for Luanna will be recited at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Saint Luke's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with father Virgilio (Jojo) Tabo, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
