Anne was born in St. Louis, MO to Elena Eldred and Frank Lewis Dinsmore. She attended University High School in St. Louis and went to college at Purdue University. Anne was a varsity cheerleader at Purdue University and a member of Pi Beta Phi where she met her future husband, Charles (Bill) Williams. They were married in 1953 when they moved to Kansas with the Army.
Anne graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Home Economics from Kansas State University. She and Bill celebrated 40 years of marriage until his death in 1993. A homemaker for much of her early life with Bill, Anne became licensed in real estate in Tucson in 1979 and continued to be a practicing real estate agent after she and Bill moved to Douglas in 1984 where she has resided since. Anne was always active in civic organizations and over her life became a member of Psi Iota Xi, Beta Sigma Phi, PEO, and Ocotillo. She was a charter member of The Gallery in Douglas and an active member of the Cochise County Historical Society where she served as a board member. She made many dear friends while living in Douglas. She enjoyed simple pleasures of picnics in the park with her children, hosting family gatherings at her home where she could enjoy her grandchildren and getting together with friends. She was an avid bridge player for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, F.L. and Elena Dinsmore, and her husband Bill and great-grandson Liam Capik. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Stan Lehman; her sister Patricia of The Villages, FL. and her brother Lewis of Tampa, FL; her six children, Kathryn Ann Williams of Alpine, CA; Karen Sue Abel of Columbus, IN; Charles (Chuck) Williams of Bloomington, IN; Joseph W. Williams of Douglas, AZ; Molly Ryan Williams of Sierra Vista, AZ; and Jennifer Gail Kime of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Gadsden Hotel conference room on Friday June 23 from 2 to 5 p.m.
