Loreto Ochoa (aka Junior) was born in Agua Prieta, Sonora to Loreto and Rosalia Ochoa and passed away at the age of 47 in Douglas, Arizona. Junior was part of a large family, he was one of six siblings: Jesus (Sandra) Ochoa, Cecilia (Bill) Keeme, Elda (Danny) Larez, Rosita Ochoa, Viviana Ochoa, and Kathy Mota. He is also survived by five nephews and one niece: Ivan Ochoa, Diego Ochoa, Fabian Ochoa, Danny Larez, Guillermo Keeme, and Michelle Keeme.

Everyone knew him as Junior and his love of baseball was well-known to all. He was an avid fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks and University of Arizona Wildcats. While attending school he followed the same footsteps as his brother Jesus delivering the Douglas Daily Dispatch and playing baseball until he was no longer able to. Although Junior struggled with his disability, he rode his wheelchair around Douglas as long as he could independently. He enjoyed collecting baseball hats, stopping by Circle K, helping his cousin Adam fix cars, and watching his nephews play baseball.

Junior will always be remembered for his big smile, strong spirit, and great love of his family. Aside from the many adversities he faced, he always found joy in all aspects of his life. He loved family gatherings (especially for his birthdays), music, food, watching Pedrito Fernandez movies, and getting out of the house when he was able to. He loved his family dearly and was greatly loved by so many.  A Rosary for Loreto will be recited at 10:15 am on Monday, June 13, 2022 t Immaculate Conception Church.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
