On Wednesday, January 11, 2023, Lilia F. Lara departed this Earth to be with our Heavenly Father. She was born on December 13, 1936, in Agua Prieta, Sonora Mexico to Alfredo and Manuela Felix. Lilia was a lifelong resident of Douglas, AZ. Lilia was married to Richard Lara for 40 years until his passing in 1999. Lilia was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her sisters Veda Fraijo, Estella Oquendo, and Lupita Miller.

Her memory lives on through her children Francisco and Rosario Lara, Celina and Marko Stoyanof, Lucia and Michael Smith, Jorge and Estephana Lara, and Lorenzo Lara. Along with her grandchildren Stephanie Marie and Matthew Brown, Lilia Lara, Selina and Christian Puga, Victoria and Fabian Ochoa, Teresa and Jarrett Samaniego, Richard and Clarissa Lara and Amanda Stoyanof and great grandchildren Cristian Dorame, Maya Dorame, Fabian Ochoa, Xavier Ochoa, Maddox Brown, Corbin Brown, Brandon Brown, Jorge Lara and Jocie Lara.

Lilia was a commercial property owner for over fifty years. Her passions were gardening, grandkids and her greatest passion was her great grand kids. She loved to travel with her family and make lasting memories. She also loved her many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She will leave a very large void in our lives, and she will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at Brown & Page Mortuary with a Rosary being recited at 6:00pm.

Final viewing will be held on January 20th from 8:30am-10:30am. at Brown Page Mortuary with a Mass of the Resurrection to follow at Immaculate Conception Church at 11:00am.
