Obituary

Our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on November 14, 2015. He was born September 2, 1923 to Jose Pedro and Maria Jesus Montaño in Bavispe, Sonora. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jose Pedro, his wife of 59 years Loreto Montaño and daughter Maria del Carmen Montaño. He is survived by daughters Ana Luz Moreno (Daniel), Maria Jesus Hurtado (Gustavo), Loreto Montaño (Hector Moreno) and sons, Julian Montaño Jr., and Jose Montaño (Melissa), as well as 16 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Julian, lovingly known as "Papi" to all his family, was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. A Rosary for Julian will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. with Father Armando Espinoza officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Gustavo Hurtado Jr., Daniel D. Moreno, Jose Julian Montaño, Alex Montaño, Emilio Moreno, Hector Moreno, Julian Montaño, and Jose Montaño.
