Juan (Juanito) M. Silva

February 24, 1929 – August 15, 2025

Juan M. Silva, our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on August 15, 2025 at the age of 96.  Born in Chihuahua, Mexico in1929, Juan, or Juanito to his friends and family, lived briefly in Oklahoma and Phoenix before moving to Pirtleville with his family in 1967.   His hard work led him to start his own business, Silva's Backhoe Service.  He was able to retire after 34 years in business and continued to stay busy spending time with family and friends, his garden, and his pets.  He will be remembered for his hard work, deep love for his family and his sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ernestina Silva.  Children,  Leticia (John) DeLaCruz; Cecilia, Juan Jr. (Rebecca) and Guillermo (Memo), 4 grandsons and 1 great-grandson.  He is also survived by his sister, Atocha Caro.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the burial of cremains for Juan Silva, which will be held at the Pirtleville Cemetery on August 28, 2025 beginning at 10:30 a.m.
