José Manuel "Chemel" Quijada passed away on October 26, 2020.  Born in Pilares de Nacozari, José Manuel "Chemel" Quijada lived a passionate, exemplary life. His life centered on family, work and sports. A life time member of the Agua Prieta Lions Club, Chemel adopted its motto and dedicated his life to serving others as an Accountant and Insurance  Consultant. He was also a fan of Trio Los Panchos and enjoyed singing to Ana Celia, the love of his life and wife of 64 years. He leaves six siblings:  Ana Celia, Jose Manuel, Jorge Luis, Cesar Andres, Marco Antonio and Marissa; 17 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Brown Page Mortuary with a private Rosary for the family to follow.  Visitation will also be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am at Brown Page Mortuary with a Mass of Christian Burial being held at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions attendance to the Mass will be limited.
