Juan (Johnny) N. Owen passed away on June 7, 2023. He was born on September 9, 1955. He is preceded by death by his parents, Frank Q. and Aida N. Owen, and his younger brother Joe N. Owen, his baby daughter, Cinthia. He is survived by numerous family members, including his older sisters, Maria O. Grajeda and Aida P. Owen, and his older brothers and younger brother, Frank N. Owen, Genaro N. Owen, and Guillermo N. Owen. He also left his close friends, virtual brothers George Flores and Chubby Flores, and many other close friends. His children, April, Aida Guadalupe, and Bernardo, survived him. His many nephews and nieces will keep him in their prayers and remember him and his unique traits. His uncles, William Q. Owen, Antonio Olivas, and loving cousins also survived him. He will be missed. Johnny was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer last year, eventually spreading to other parts.

Johnny was a long-time member of the American Legion and enjoyed helping out. May he rest in peace.
