Jocelyn "Jo" Sidney Williams Beumler passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, in Sierra Vista, Arizona.  Jocelyn, born November 11, 1947, in Douglas, Arizona, was the second daughter of John Morris Williams and Kathleen Hooker Williams.

She was educated in Douglas and attended Judson School in Scottsdale, Arizona.  As a young woman Jo was quite the horse woman, winning both equestrian and jumping awards.  One of her first jobs was to work as an office aide to attorney Henry W. Beumler who was also her Business Law teacher and a close friend of Jo's father.  Jo often shared that she was scared of Mr. Beumler.

A later job with Eastern Airlines as a stewardess took her to Atlanta, Georgia.  Returning to Douglas in the late 1990s, she reacquainted with Henry "Hank" C. Beumler (son of the scary teacher) over Douglas High School alumnae reunion projects.

They were married by Judge Stephen Desens at the Knight Owl Ranch and shared the next 23 years enjoying the "good things in life": mystery novels, dancing, travel and a good joke that would make them both laugh.  Always a girly-girly, in her final days, even though in extreme pain from damage to her leg and hips from a fall, she began to use an eyelash curler as soon as she laid hands on her cosmetics bag.

Jocelyn is predeceased by her parents; her sister Judy Hill, and brothers-in-law Edward and Timothy Beumler.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 23 years, Henry "Hank" Collins Beumler; sister-in-law, Candyce Beumler Pardee (David); sisters -in-law Donna Beumler and Carol Weaver, nephews-in-law Patrick Beumler (Crystal) and Justin Beumler (Marcie); stepdaughter, Amy Landrum and her sons Collin and Bryan Landrum; nephews, Robert, John and James Hill; first cousins, Ann Rathwell, Stephen Williams and Michael Williams; plus three additional generations of cousins.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Douglas on Tuesday, March 4, at 11am.  A reception will follow in the Catholic Youth Center.  Internment will be at the Paradise Cemetery in the Chiricahua Mountains later that afternoon.
