It is with great sadness that the family of Jerry Ruiz Sanchez announce his passing. Jerry was born August 23, 1977, in Douglas, Arizona, returned to God, March 26, 2019.
Jerry was a handsome young man with a heart of gold. He loved doing many outdoor activities. He was funny, quick witted with a swooning smile and contagious laugh. He had a unique ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He had many friends he held dearly in his heart.
He was the loving son of the Late Cutberto Sanchez and Martha Sanchez, loving father of Gerardo and Mateo Sanchez and devoted brother of Cindy Sanchez, Selma (Rene) Federico, Cutberto Sanchez Jr (Irene), Rosela (Donnie) Arvayo, and Manuel Sanchez. Jerry leaves behind nieces and nephews; Victoria Sanchez (Danny), Alexandra (Ryan)Duron-Kelly, J.D., Olivia and Isaac Sanchez, Josh, Joey (Veronica), Trevor, Jordan and Tyler Arvayo. Beloved uncle and aunt Tony and Rosa Gomez and cousins Donna Gomez, Peggy (Francisco) Martinez, Rene (Pam) and Roland (Diane) Gomez. Jerry also leaves behind his phenomenal fiancé Denise Lopez and extended family; Gavino Salazar, Max Flores and Joseph Lopez.
A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Pirtleville, Arizona. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 also at St. Bernard's Church. Burial will follow at the Pirtleville Cemetery. Pallbearers; Manuel and Cutberto Sanchez Jr, Rene Federico and Donnie Arvayo. Honorary Pallbearers; Gerardo and Mateo Sanchez, Joshua, Joey, Trevor and Tyler Arvayo, Isaac Sanchez, J.D. Federico, Roland and Rene Gomez, Danny Novoa, Gavino Salazar, Max Flores, and Danny Sanchez. We would like for you to join us after burial in a potluck reception at the Knights of Columbus, 1125 F Ave, Doulas, 85607.
