Irma C. Romo, age 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2018 in Phoenix. She was born on February 15, 1956 in Agua Prieta to Eusebio and Reyna (Durán) Samaniego. She was a 1975 graduate of Douglas High School, and worked as a Case Manager for the State of Arizona and as a Nutrition Specialist for Child and Family Resources. She was always willing to help those in need, and her compassionate nature was shown through her genuine acts of kindness. She planted love, joy, peace and kindness everywhere she went. Irma was committed to making a difference and this world is a better place because of her.

Her many talents included home décor, baking, cooking, and craft making to name a few. Her smile lit up any room and she could turn any place into a dance floor.

She is survived by her parents; her husband of 41 years, Francisco; her son Gerardo (Claudia); her daughter Janet Moreno (Anthony); son Adrian; grandchildren Lindsey, Leslie, Anthony Jr., Noelani and Natalie; as well as her brother Bernardo Samaniego and sister Ana Bernal.
